Taco Bar Buffet: Seasoned beef and chicken, served with corn or flour shells, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, salsa, sour cream, Spanish rice, and garden salad. The Buffet includes cookies and an iced tea and water station. The snack break will include assorted chips, soda, and water.

Meet the Speakers
Pat LaDuke
Retired
Pat began his forty-six year Die Cast career in 1976 when he started working for Outboard Marine Corporation. In 1978 he was accepted into a Die Design Apprenticeship which he completed in 1982. Pat took a position as a Die Designer at Ganton Technologies / Intermet in 1985. The last five years of his seventeen years there his title was Tooling Engineer. He was responsible for all design and build communication with the tool builders. He worked eleven months as a Die Cast Tooling Engineer at JL French in 2004-2005 before taking a Tooling Engineer position at Mercury Marine. After ten years at Mercury, Pat returned to Kenosha as a Senior Tooling Engineer at Shiloh Industries / Aludyne. He finished his career there in June 2023.
Sean Frank
Mercury Marine
Sean Frank is a Manufacturing Engineer at Mercury Marine and is responsible for the HPDC process and manufacturing for a handful of the cylinder blocks for Mercury’s outboard engines. Sean recently received his certification in MAGMASOFT and assists with day to day simulation and analysis of HPDC defects to reduce scrap and optimize casting/tooling geometry and processes, as well as assisting with DFM activities for new product development. Sean graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University where he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in simulations.
Clay Rasmussen
Mercury Marine
Clayton Rasmussen, a Technical Specialist at Mercury Marine, holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. With nearly a decade of experience, he specializes in High-Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) and casting simulation analysis, focusing on design for manufacturing and new product launches.
